What Is Neapolitan Pizza?
Did you know pizza was invented in Naples, Italy? Using only fresh ingredients, this pizza has a thin crust base that allows for the surrounding dough to puff up. It can be described as “wet” or soggy compared to a New York slice which is why they’re only sold by the pie, not slice. This is a whole new difference eating experience altogether.
What is focaccia?
Focaccia is an Italian baked bread but unlike traditional pizza dough, focaccia requires more yeast. This gives it a lighter, fluffier texture that resembles leavened bread. If you like more of a deep-dish style than a NY slice, this is for you!
Tips for Reheating Neapolitan pizza.
Reheat your oven to it’s maximum temperature and place pizza(s) on the middle rack. Heat for 3-4 minutes max. Make sure to keep an eye on it, the dough cooks very quickly. Enjoy!
